CD Projekt’s chief financial officer, Piotr Nielubowicz, shared this impressive milestone during the company’s financial briefing for the quarter ending in September, as reported by VGC.
Additionally, the game’s expansion, Phantom Liberty, is making waves of its own, having sold over eight million copies. This isn’t just a testament to CD Projekt’s successful storytelling but also to the enduring allure of the Cyberpunk universe.

“I have some exciting news straight from Night City,” revealed Nielubowicz. “Cyberpunk 2077 has surpassed the 30 million sales mark, and Phantom Liberty has reached eight million units sold. These figures are a real testament to the size and passion of our fan community and the immense interest in the Cyberpunk universe.”
He continued, “These achievements are crucial for us, particularly with the recent announcement that next year, both the game and its expansion will be available on Mac devices powered by Apple Silicon chips. I am thrilled to also share that we’re working on another animated project in the Cyberpunk series, which is headed to Netflix.”
