Update 12/13: We’re thrilled to announce that after a successful trial with Insiders, the Support Virtual Agent is now becoming available to all gamers in the U.S. We extend our gratitude to all the Insiders who participated in testing and gave us valuable feedback on this new tool.
The Support Virtual Agent, driven by AI, is designed to help Xbox users more easily tackle their gaming support issues. Starting today, it’s available to certain Xbox Insiders through support.xbox.com. This nifty feature pulls information directly from support.xbox.com, providing answers to any console or game-related queries. If you’re an Xbox Insider in the U.S. and have English set as your preferred language, you can start testing out the Support Virtual Agent today. Just make sure you’re logged into your Xbox Insider Program account when you visit support.xbox.com.
The feedback from Xbox Insiders is crucial during this preview period, and we’ll be using all the input we receive to refine and enhance the Support Virtual Agent. As you interact with the agent, you can express your thoughts by clicking the “thumbs up” or “thumbs down” buttons on its responses, or through the “Give feedback” button located at the bottom of the page.
How to Use Support Virtual Agent
From today, Xbox Insiders will spot the Support Virtual Agent on the “Contact Us” page on support.xbox.com. Just log in with your Xbox Insider Program account, and you’ll find a new option to engage with our freshly launched Support Virtual Agent.
When you click on “Ask a question,” the Support Virtual Agent will pop up in a new browser window. You can communicate with it via text or voice, and it will respond with pertinent information sourced from support.xbox.com. If the Support Virtual Agent doesn’t have the answer, you can always opt to talk to a live support agent, provided it’s during Xbox Support’s working hours.
During this preview, you can tailor your support experience by clicking on the ellipsis menu icon and selecting from two different Support Virtual Agents.

If you’re seeking support as an Xbox Insider, hop over to the Xbox Insider subreddit. Official Xbox staff members, moderators, and fellow Insiders are there to assist. It’s best to contribute to existing threads with similar topics before starting a new one since it helps us help you more effectively! You can also give direct feedback to Team Xbox by following the directions under the “Report a problem online” section.
