Immersion Games, an indie studio from Poland, is gearing up for the release of their upcoming game this month, introducing a fresh fantasy spin to the world of VR fitness.
Titled “Fitness Fables,” this game combines classic fantasy elements with a fitness-oriented experience, boasting 80 levels, 16 boss battles, and a slew of bonus challenges. With an estimated 24 hours of gameplay, there’s plenty to keep players engaged.
The game features an on-rails format, heavily integrating 24 different exercises. You’ll find yourself doing power squats, swinging ropes, pressing towards the sky, battling with ropes, punching, rowing—just to name a few.
For those who aren’t fans of rhythm-based VR titles like “Beat Saber” or “Synth Riders,” or prefer something other than guided workout programs such as “Supernatural” or “Les Mills Bodycombat,” “Fitness Fables” might just be the VR experience you’re looking for.
But don’t think this is a one-off project. Immersion Games has made its mark in the VR scene with popular titles like the PvP combat game “Divine Duel,” the puzzle-action hybrid “Extreme Escape,” and the sports-themed “Disc Ninja.”
Mark your calendars, as “Fitness Fables” is set to launch on January 30th for the Quest. Pre-orders are open in the Horizon Store for Quest 2 and higher, with the game priced at $12.
