Intel’s XeSS technology has made significant progress, now featured in over 150 games, with plans to expand further. XeSS 2 is still in its early stages.
Intel Expands XeSS Coverage Across 150+ Games, Building Momentum for XeSS 2
Intel was a pioneer in introducing super-sampling with the launch of its first-generation Arc Alchemist GPUs. Since XeSS hit the scene over two years ago, it has evolved considerably, and now we see XeSS 2 beginning to emerge.
Although XeSS 2 hasn’t achieved widespread use just yet, the initial version, XeSS 1.0, and its subsequent updates are already part of numerous games. Today, Intel proudly announced that XeSS is compatible with more than 150 titles, with plans for even more in the near future.
You can view the full roster of games equipped with XeSS technology, including several renowned modern triple-A titles. However, XeSS still faces stiff competition from AMD’s FSR and NVIDIA’s DLSS.

While Intel has some ground to cover before it can rival its competitors fully, it has certainly made notable strides. Most of the games supporting XeSS align with the original version and its updates, whereas XeSS 2 is still sparsely integrated. Currently, just two games—F1 2024 and Marvel Rivals—leverage XeSS 2, but more, such as Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Killing Floor 3, are on the horizon.
A few titles also boast support for Intel’s XeSS Frame Generation, which isn’t as prevalent as AMD and NVIDIA’s Frame Gen solutions. Notably, XeSS 2 and Frame Generation are exclusively compatible with Intel’s Arc Battlemage GPUs. However, the Arc B580 and Arc B570 models are the only ones available, and their availability remains scarce.
