Hello there! Exciting news from Konami as they’ve announced an upcoming Silent Hill transmission stream happening later this week. This event will spotlight Silent Hill f, a new game that’s cheekily ignoring the usual grammar rules with its lowercase ‘f.’
Recently, we’ve been treated to some Silent Hill content, notably the critically acclaimed Silent Hill 2 Remake, a collaboration between Konami and Bloober Team. However, it’s been a long time since we’ve seen a fresh addition to the main series. Silent Hill f aims to fill that eerie gap.
The upcoming Silent Hill transmission is scheduled for March 13 at 10 PM GMT. That’s 3 PM PDT, 6 PM ET, for those in other time zones. As soon as the livestream link is available, we’ll include it here. Meanwhile, it’s a safe bet that you’ll find it on the official Silent Hill YouTube channel.
Regarding the content of the stream, Konami mentioned, “This Transmission will uncover SILENT HILL f,” and the game’s director, Al Yang, expressed, “Excited to finally be able to share what we’ve been cooking.”
In case your memory needs a jog, Silent Hill f was initially unveiled during a previous SH transmission in 2022, alongside the aforementioned SH2 remake. The game is being developed by Neobards Entertainment with a story penned by Ryukishi07, the mind behind the When They Cry visual novel series.
Our Silent Hill guru Kelsey found the original Silent Hill f teaser, featuring a mysterious flower hat, to be “quite fascinating and stylised.” If you’re into bone-chilling thrills, this showcase is worth marking on your calendar.
