Avatar: The Last Airbender hasn’t ventured into the virtual reality realm officially, but you might find yourself doing a double-take while playing Elements Divided. This multiplayer action game, now available on Quest 2 and later versions, as well as PC VR headsets, lets you engage in all sorts of elemental bending fun.
Created by Loco Motion and released by Fast Travel Games, Elements Divided pits players against each other online or lets them collaborate to fight off enemy hordes in co-op mode. Similar to what you’d experience in the Avatar TV series, each of the four elements—fire, water, air, and earth—offers unique combat styles. There are a whopping 60 attacks and abilities across these elements to explore.
As players advance through the game, they have the opportunity to upgrade their characters, unlock even more devastating abilities, and tweak their loadouts and avatars for a personalized touch.
In a statement, Loco Motion highlighted the game’s immersive controls: “Every ability in the game can be summoned using immersive, gesture-driven controls that allow you to guide the flow of water, summon stone barriers, hurl yourself across arenas, and more.”
At its launch, Elements Divided presents players with the following features:
-
Four Core Elements to Master: Dive into the art of Water, Earth, Fire, and Air, honing your skills to unleash powerful attacks and defenses.
-
Team Up or Compete with Friends: Jump into the online arena for fierce skill-based battles or join forces with friends to fend off waves of AI foes. Prefer to go it alone? Solo play is on the table too.
- Unlock Powers & Cosmetics: Let your warrior stand out by giving them a unique look, and unlock new abilities as you climb the ranks.
From today, you can pick up Elements Divided on the Horizon Store if you’re using Quest 2 or higher, and on Steam for those with PC VR systems. The game is priced quite affordably at $10.
