Almost a year after its debut, Asgard’s Wrath 2 is tackling the lasting influence of Loki in its final Cosmic Event. Launched last December, Sanzaru Games has been actively updating this VR action RPG with an array of Cosmic Events. These limited-time challenges, known as Cosmic Objectives, have kept players on their toes with tasks like fending off a vampiric plague, exploring the multiverse, and battling the forces of Surtur. Now, as the final event unfolds, players once again face Loki in “The Trickster’s Legacy.”
In this event, your mission is to repair the fractured realities caused by Loki’s mischief. You’ll find yourself navigating through mysterious ‘?’ doors scattered across the Uncharted Rifts, evading elaborate trap rooms, completing five divine trials in a single run, and eliminating Loki Anomalies from the overworld. Successfully conquering these challenges will reward you with the Staff of the Trickster, replicas of the Ma’at Stones, Loki’s iconic horned helmet, as well as various emotes, badges, and titles.
Though this event is the last of its kind for new content, it doesn’t spell the end for Cosmic Events as a whole. Sanzaru Games has announced that it will be replaying each event from the start with the “Into the Multiverse” series, giving players another opportunity to earn those elusive, limited-time rewards.
On another note, Asgard’s Wrath 2 is also rolling out a new outfit that differs from the rest because it’s not tied to any time constraints. Available exclusively to Meta Quest+ subscribers, this ensemble features a unique dinosaur-themed armor hailing from the island of Laramidia, paired with a formidable stone blade weapon.
Currently, Asgard’s Wrath 2 can be enjoyed on the Meta Quest platform.
