This exciting development was announced in a statement on The Molasses Flood’s website, revealing that as of April 1st, the studio has officially integrated with the creators of Cyberpunk 2077. Importantly, The Molasses Flood reassured fans that its earlier creations—The Flame in the Flood and Drake Hollow—won’t be impacted by this merge, following its acquisition by CD Projekt in 2021. Currently, the team is deeply immersed in developing Project Sirius, a multiplayer escapade set in the famed universe of The Witcher.
In tandem with this major announcement, Damian Isla, the founder of The Molasses Flood, has decided to part ways with the studio.
