Starting off 2025 on a high note, Valve’s Counter-Strike 2 has taken the top spot as the highest-grossing game on Steam.
Once again, this popular online shooter leads the charge on the platform, outpacing PUBG: Battlegrounds, which made an impressive leap of ten places to secure the second position.
Meanwhile, Path of Exile 2 held steady in third place, and Marvel Rivals claimed the fourth spot. Valve’s Steam Deck hardware dropped a few places, landing at fifth following the conclusion of Steam’s latest sale. Other notable mentions include Dota 2, Helldivers 2, and Elden Ring, which each slipped one position to settle in at sixth, seventh, and eighth places respectively. On the other hand, Baldur’s Gate 3 climbed up one notch, now sitting at ninth.
Completing the Top Ten is Cyberpunk 2077, which experienced a slight dip, falling two spots compared to the previous week.
