First up, the team sends warm wishes for a joyous holiday season and a safe New Year to everyone! As someone who’s not exactly a fan of the cold, I can still appreciate the cozy sweater season it brings. It’s the perfect excuse to snuggle up indoors and indulge in some Xbox gaming.
As has become tradition, we’ve temporarily paused releasing preview builds on both consoles and PCs to ensure a smooth and stable gaming experience for everyone over the holidays. But rest assured, our dedicated team is hard at work behind the scenes on future updates! We’re actively reviewing your feedback, ready to tackle any issues that might pop up. It fills me with pride to be a part of the Xbox Insider Program, and your support means the world to us. Before signing off, I reached out to some team members to see what they’re up to this month, whether it’s gaming adventures or holiday relaxation. Here’s a peek at what they shared:

Jon: My main goal is to conquer Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and dive into the Ode to Castlevania DLC for Vampire Survivors.

Joshua: I’m gearing up to rewatch all those classic holiday favorites and dive deep into Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

Tim: I’m up for a challenge and plan to tackle Nine Sols, and I’m also looking forward to quality family time since some relatives are flying in for the holidays.

Donovan: My holiday agenda includes playing Path of Exile 2, soaking up cherished moments with family, and indulging in nostalgic Christmas movies to get into the holiday vibe.

Sally: My plan is to devour lots of cookies, enjoy cozy games, and eagerly await any new PowerWash Simulator DLC. Plus, spending time with family and friends is a must.
- Leland: Every year, I save two story-driven games (alongside my love for CoD/BLOPs) and ensure they battle it out to remain on my list. Come mid-December, I immerse myself in these tales for a week of uninterrupted gameplay magic. It’s my favorite tradition, and it’s almost here!
As for my own plans, having finally completed the Black Ops 6 camo grind, I feel like I’m ready to dive deeper into the game! I’m also aiming to wrap up achievements in Aliens: Dark Descent, while doing my best to keep Jack Frost at bay and prevent my geese’s pond from freezing as it has many winters past.
