PGA Tour 2K25, the newest entry in 2K Sports’ beloved golf simulation series, has unexpectedly released a demo. If you’re thinking about grabbing the full game when it’s out later this month, this trial is a great way to kickstart your golfer’s career mode.
Referred to as PGA Tour 2K25 First Look, the demo offers a sneak peek into several segments of the complete game. You’ll have the chance to dive into the character customization tool, where you can create up to three MyPlayer golfers. These characters can be developed from an overall rating of 65 to 70. You can then put your MyPlayer to the test on one course: the back nine of TPC Scottsdale. This includes the iconic par-3 16th hole, famous for its grandstand surroundings. Keep in mind, this part of the demo is available solely for local play, not online. You’ll also have access to the full game’s training mode, alongside some quests designed to help you enhance your skills.
If you decide to purchase PGA Tour 2K25 on the same platform you try the demo, all your created golfers and their progression will seamlessly transfer to the full game. The demo is ready for download on PlayStation 5, Windows PC (Steam), and Xbox Series X.
This demo marks a first for the PGA Tour 2K series, as neither of the previous installments, 2020’s PGA Tour 2K21 nor 2022’s PGA Tour 2K23, featured one. The full version is set to launch for everyone on February 28. However, if you opt for the Deluxe Edition ($99.99) or the Legend Edition ($119.99) through pre-order, you’ll gain access a week early, starting February 21.
