Make sure you have access to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on your Nintendo Switch. Then, simply head to the main menu, select “Online,” then “Official Tourney Qualifiers” to dive into the event.
Chasing the Tourney Score
The essence of this competition is all about the Tourney score, a measure of your gaming prowess. It reflects your performance against opponents with varying scores. Check your Tourney score anytime during the event to see how you’re stacking up. There’s no limit to the number of matches you can play—keep pushing to improve your score until the event closes.
Claiming Victory and Rewards
For those with the top Tourney scores, there’s more than just bragging rights. The top 10 players each snag 2,500 My Nintendo Gold Points. Not to be left out, the next 90 top players get 1,000 points each. Keep in mind, though, if you change your account’s region to a non-participating country before prizes are sent out, you’ll be disqualified. And, of course, fair play is crucial—cheating or exploiting bugs will get you disqualified and might result in account suspension.
Prize Distribution
Prizes land in the winners’ Nintendo Accounts within two weeks after the event wraps up. Want to know if you’ve received your Gold Points? Just check the My Nintendo Point Log while you’re signed in.
