When news breaks about something like the remake of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, there are so many expressions that come to mind. Frankly, though, trying to capture the excitement in my own words just doesn’t do it justice. Let’s let the press release set the scene.
The iconic skateboarding game is making a grand return this July 11 with Tony Hawk’s™ Pro Skater™ 3 + 4. Completely rebuilt from scratch and slated to drop this summer, the game merges the beloved elements from the early 2000s with fresh updates. Expect to see new skaters hitting the parks, performing gnarlier tricks, and all to an even more electrifying soundtrack. Excitingly, for the first time in a decade, we’re also getting brand-new parks!
Dust off those old ‘No Fear’ window decals—you’re going to need them.
Among the new roster of skaters, you’ll find amazing talents like Rayssa Leal, Chloe Covell, Jamie Foy, Zion Wright, and Yuto Horigome joining the crew. Of course, beloved veterans like Tony Hawk himself, along with Bucky Lasek, Steve Caballero, and many more legends are making a comeback.
The new “sicker soundtrack” boasts tracks like:
- “Ace of Spades” by Motörhead
- “Amoeba” by Adolescents
- “Mass Appeal” by Gang Starr
- “96 Quite Bitter Beings” by CKY
- “Not the Same” by Bodyjar
- KRS-One’s “Outta Here”
Plus, there are fresh tracks designed to embody today’s skate culture vibe.
For those eager for a more luxurious experience, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is offered in a Digital Deluxe Edition. This version includes unique content like Doom Slayer and Revenant characters, in-game skate decks, and customizable Create-a-Skater items. If you’re a dedicated fan, the Collector’s Edition might catch your eye—it has everything from the Digital Deluxe Edition, plus a full-size Birdhouse® skateboard deck emblazoned with Tony Hawk’s autograph.
