Silent North, the latest sandbox survival shooter from Combat Waffle, the creators behind Ghosts of Tabor, has just landed in early access for both Quest and PC VR headsets.
Much like the renowned PvPvE game Rust from Face Punch Studio, Silent North invites players into a vast, open-ended survival world where you’re the master of your own destiny. Whether you choose to forge alliances, commit acts of betrayal, or simply immerse yourself in its ever-evolving landscape, the choice is yours.
Scott Albright, the CEO and founder of Combat Waffle Studios, mentions how Silent North offers a fresh take compared to Ghosts of Tabor. “In Tabor, the focus is on intense, high-stakes raids, where tactical combat, gathering gear, and making your escape takes center stage,” Albright explains. “The survival genre is diverse, but it’s often missing truly immersive VR experiences. We’re aiming to fill that void.”
Players should prepare for a world filled with environmental challenges, formidable Infected adversaries (think zombies), and other players all striving to make it through.
Silent North, labeled as an “alpha Early Access release,” is available now. You can find it on the Horizon Store for Quest 2 and newer models, as well as for PC VR headsets on Steam, all for a price of $20.
