Sid Meier’s Civilization VII is making its debut on PC and consoles on February 11th. But guess what? Firaxis and 2K Games are also bringing a version to Quest this spring.
This Quest-exclusive edition is described as a unique experience crafted specifically for Meta Quest 3 and 3S. Imagine building your civilization from a first-person viewpoint, where you can literally look over the entire map using both VR and mixed-reality modes. It’s like stepping into the shoes of a world leader.
PlaySide Studios and 2K are at the helm of Sid Meier’s Civilization VII – VR, which promises both solo gameplay and the thrill of online multiplayer. You’ll be able to challenge up to three other players on Quest 3 and 3S, making for an engaging play session.
One of the most exciting features is that the iconic world leaders of the series are brought to life right in front of you. Whether you’re forming alliances or going to war, their reactions will be up close and personal.
While we don’t have an exact date yet, 2K has earmarked a Spring 2025 release during their announcement at the recent Civ World Summit. Until then, you can add Sid Meier’s Civilization VII – VR to your wishlist over on the Horizon Store if you’re gearing up to use Quest 3 and 3S.
