The top ranks on the Xbox gameplay chart have held steady this week, but there’s been a noticeable uptick in interest for Far Cry New Dawn, likely fueled by its return to Game Pass. With a slew of big titles dropping on the platform soon, we’re expecting to see some fresh faces cracking the top 40.
Sniper Elite: Resistance continues to climb, moving up to the seventh spot after its recent debut on Game Pass. Sean had plenty of good things to say in his review, so if you’re undecided, it’s worth checking out. Meanwhile, Halo Infinite is making strides, bouncing from 23rd to 17th following its latest update.
Let’s talk about Far Cry New Dawn — it’s made a splash back into the top 40, sitting at 19th after landing on Game Pass again last week. On the flip side, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has slid down the ranks, dropping from 18th to 22nd. Despite being a stellar game, it’s tough to juggle with so many AAA titles heading our way via Game Pass over the coming months.
Ninja Gaiden 2 Black ran high in the charts a few weeks ago with its surprise launch on Xbox. However, it has since nosedived from 11th to 24th. Similarly, Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap, another recent Game Pass addition, has slipped to 31st.
We’ve also seen Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II and No Man’s Sky making reappearances at 33rd and 36th respectively. Both have rolled out significant updates that seem to have wooed players back. On the other hand, Eternal Strands, a Game Pass day-one release, has tumbled from 19th to 38th, while Hell Let Loose closes out the list at 40th.
Surprisingly, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II hasn’t cracked the top 40 yet, despite being a highly anticipated sequel. It could be that players are waiting for the right moment to dive into this immersive RPG, especially since it’s not available on Game Pass.
