Devs United Games, the creative minds behind the Quest-exclusive hit Real VR Fishing, have exciting news for PC VR enthusiasts. This popular virtual fishing experience is heading to PC VR headsets, with its debut scheduled for early December.
Fans of the game will be pleased to hear that the SteamVR release will maintain the same pricing strategy and gameplay as the beloved Quest version. This means that all downloadable content, including the US West Coast DLC, US East Coast DLC, Japan DLC Part 1, and Part 2, will be readily accessible when it launches on Steam.
In its base form, Real VR Fishing boasts an impressive selection of 40 fishing spots and more than 150 fish species. However, should you opt for the additional DLCs, you’ll unlock an incredible 95 extra fishing locations and expand your fishing repertoire to over 300 different fish species.
For those who enjoy both solo and social gameplay, Real VR Fishing supports both single-player and four-player multiplayer modes on Quest. However, it’s worth noting that, as confirmed to Road to VR by the developers, the Steam version won’t support cross-play multiplayer between Quest, Pico, and PC VR platforms.
Beyond fishing, the Steam release promises several intriguing features. Players can look forward to built-in YouTube and web browsing capabilities, regular monthly updates, and even aquarium customization, adding more depth to the gaming experience.
Initially launched on Quest in late 2019, Real VR Fishing quickly reeled in the title of the most popular fishing game on the platform, holding an impressive rating of 4.6 out of 5 from over 7,200 users.
For those eager to dive into this immersive fishing adventure on PC, Real VR Fishing is now available for wishlisting on Steam ahead of its anticipated early December release.
